Oregon law caps the fee for a traditional notarial act. I post it here, then we talk through travel and anything extra on the phone so there are no surprises.

Traditional notarial act

That is Oregon's maximum for a traditional (in-person) notarial act under ORS 194.400. Each notarial act is billed separately. Two signers on two certificates are two acts.

Travel and extras

Travel is quoted by phone. We have to agree on the travel amount before I drive — that is how Oregon treats travel fees.
Printing and other extras are quoted the same way, by phone.
